Restoring Lives, Inc., is dedicated to providing the unserved, underserved and underprivileged with the emotional, financial, mental and physical and spiritual resources needed to heal individuals and the family unit as a whole. Under our Program, several scholarships will be awarded to students continuing their college education, vocational students and high school seniors in Carter County.
Program Guidelines & Priorities:
* Seeking vocational students, college students and graduating seniors with a record of volunteerism in the community, non-school sponsored activities and extracurricular school activities.
* Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and plan to attend or attending a 2 or 4-year college or technical school.
*Graduating senior applicants must have an ACT score of 19 or above.
*Applicant must be a resident of Carter County.
*Applicant need level will be determined by the FASFA criteria.
*Submit a 250 – 500 word essay or a 4-5 minute video presentation on chosen topic.
*Scholarship funds will be paid in August 2020 for Spring semester and January 2021 for Fall semester.
If chosen, recipeint will be required to:
*Volunteer 5 hours to Restoring Lives program initiatives or operation over the 2020-2021 school year.
*Provide a video testimony about how the scholarship has impacted your life.
