Hailey Wilson

2018 Scholarship Recipient

Hailey Wilson graduated in Lone Grove High School and passed with a 4.0 GPA. She’s planning going to Oklahoma Baptist University and her career goal is to Major in Art and minor in either Woman’s Ministry or Cross-Cultural Ministry. 

 

Landon Johnson

2018 Scholarship Recipient

Landon Johnson graduated in Ardmore High School and passed with a 4.0 GPA. He planning to go to Oklahoma Baptist University. Landon Johnson career goal is to serve in full-time church music ministry, and for his extra opportunities to be on school staff as accompanist or vocal music staff.

Lindsey Jones

2018 Scholarship Recipient

    Lindsey Jones graduated in Lone Grove High School and passed with an 3.81 GPA. She’s planning to attend to Oklahoma Christian University. Lindsey Jones planned on getting her bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a Vocal Emphasis. She want to teach Elementary music in a public or private school setting. She would also enjoy teaching private voice and piano.

Madison Tellez

2018 Scholarship Recipient

Madison Tellez  graduated in Ardmore High School and passed with a 4.0 GPA. List of her hobbies, outside interests, extracurricular activities are Tennis, H2O LifeChurch, and NHS-Blood drives. She planning going to Oklahoma State University and her career goal is become a Speech Pathologist.

Maegon Young

2018 Scholarship Recipient

Maegon Young graduated at Plainview High School and passed with an 3.81 GPA. She’s planning going to Southeastern Oklahoma State University and her career goal is she would like to get her nursing degree and then further her education by getting a medical degree pursuing her career as an ICU physician.

Jessie Smith

2017 Scholarship Recipient

Jessie Smith is a junior at the University of Oklahoma, Norman, Oklahoma with a English major and Religous Studies minor. He is the founder of Rap Chronicle, a magazine that showcases the lives of various hip-hop and rhythm and blues artists. He has overcome the challenge of his mother's death while attending school which lead to depression and him leaving school. He will be returning to OU to pursue his degree and graduate in 2018. He gives back to his community through organizations like IMPACT Ardmore, the Soup Kitchen, Chickasaw Missionary Baptist Association, and Express Employment Professionals to help empower adults and youth address their community needs.

Aysia Higgs

2017 Scholarship Recipient

Aysia Higgs is a senior at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma with a Pre-Law Legal Studies major. She gives back to her community through organizations like the Soup Kitchen, donate to school clothing drives and assist young ladies attending prom by doing their makeup. Higgs has overcome the challenge of being a teenage mother through the assistance of a great support system with her family, friends and church. She will graduate in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree and will be seeking to further her future to obtain a law degree.
